The Field Measure Technician works independently in the field supporting Home Depot's Measurement Services division. Field Measure Techs work independently in the field traveling to customer's homes to conduct flooring measurements and create computer generated floor plans through a tablet. Field Technicians play a key role prior to the Install team's quoting and installation process in conjunction with the Measurement Services center. Field Techs are responsible for providing a quality and professional customer service experience that meets or exceed Company standards of excellence. Techs must have the ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities so that work objectives are accomplished on time.
Provide quality customer service that consistently meets or exceeds Company standards of excellence.
Travel to customer's homes and conduct field measures for flooring or kitchen and bathroom backsplashes.
Transmit accurate measurements to the flooring tablet using a tape measurer and/or digital laser tool.
Visually evaluate and record detailed notes of any existing damage to floors or levelness.
Take photographs of areas requiring new flooring using the flooring tablet
Review and edit floor plan drawings in the CAD tablet to ensure accuracy
Submit completed floor plan and details to the Measurement Services Center.

Located in a comfortable indoor area when performing job duties. Large majority of the day is spent in the field traveling to customer's homes.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Must pass a Background Check.
Must pass a Drug Test.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: Less than 1 year, No experience is necessary. Training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
