Qualifications
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Masters of Science in Nursing
Licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in NJ.
Upon completion of training program, is able to demonstrate competency in all aspects of clinical care. Competency will be determined by the supervising Board certified Dermatologist.
Diagnose, treat and consult patients on a variety of dermatological conditions.
Work independently in satellite offices treating patients, ranging from pediatric to geriatric, with skin conditions of all types from benign to malignant and from acute to chronic. Possible cosmetic procedures depending on interest and according to established guidelines.
Make appropriate use of case consultation available to the provider and provided by the Board certified Dermatologist.
Timely completion of electronic clinical documentation. Appropriately document the subjective and objective findings including assessments and plans, in patients' medical records. Ensure accurate coding and billing.
Knowledge of and appropriate designation of codes for claims submission.
Demonstrate competency in the use of electronic medical record (EMA).
Provides summaries of care provided to patient referral sources as permitted by HIPPA regulations.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
